Endless Legend 2: Patch 1.0 Release Date
The 4X strategy game is also coming to consoles
Publisher Hooded Horse and developer Amplitude Studios have shared a new trailer for Endless Legend 2, announcing the release of the full version. The video is divided into two parts: the first, cinematic in style, depicts the game's universe with an original, sculpture-like aesthetic, while the second part focuses on actual gameplay. Endless Legend 2 was launched on PC in September 2025, in early access mode.
Where and When Endless Legend 2 Releases
The early access period will last for approximately one year: the release date for patch 1.0 is set for September 17, 2026. In addition to PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox PC), the turn-based strategy game will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles from that day. We also remind you that Endless Legend 2 will be available on the Game Pass service from launch.
What's New in Endless Legend 1.0
Ahead of the patch 1.0 release, French developer Amplitude Studios has several new features planned related to the game's factions. The main one is the arrival of the sixth major faction, the Sandshapers, the oldest civilization among those inhabiting the planet of Saiadha. Obviously, the Sandshapers will feature new heroes, units, technologies, distinctive traits, and more.
The second new feature will be the introduction of Rogue Factions, which are variants of existing factions. The first two to enter the game will be Order of Zelevas, a conquest-obsessed version of the Kin of Sheredyn, and The Severed Claw, a version of the Necrophage that can only replace its losses with slaves. The third and final new feature is the addition of a minor faction, The Mangrove of Harmony.
