Divinity: Larian Studios' New RPG Announced
Another bombshell dropped during The Game Awards
The next big announcement from The Game Awards 2025 is dedicated to all RPG lovers. Larian Studios, the Belgian software house that earned an enviable reputation with the Divinity series, which then transformed into almost unanimous admiration for the monumental Baldur's Gate 3, has announced its next role-playing game. It did so with a cinematic trailer that shows us the darker side of fantasy, without compromise.

Warning: viewing the trailer is recommended for an adult audience. The game is called Divinity, marking a return to the past for Larian (but note the absence of the "Original Sin" suffix). For now, there is no other information, except that the team behind Baldur's Gate 3 intends to bring us an RPG of even greater scope and depth than previous ones… Can you imagine it?
