Dead or Alive 6: Last Round and a New Chapter - The Announcements
Team Ninja's fighting game returns to the scene

The Dead or Alive franchise has gone through a rather delicate period: as you may recall, its creator, game designer Tomonobu Itagaki, passed away last October. The series he left us as a legacy looks to the future, with the definitive edition of the sixth installment and, above all, with a new project, which introduced itself to the world with a short but personality-filled teaser.
Dead or Alive 6: Last Round
Dead or Alive 6, originally released in 2019, will receive a definitive edition. Dead or Alive 6: Last Round will include the base game plus some bonus content, such as 5 DLC characters and Photo Mode. After launch, additional fighters and costumes will be added. The release is set for June 25, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The title will also be available in a free Core Version edition.

The New Dead or Alive Project
In 2026, the Dead or Alive franchise will turn 30 years old: Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja honor the occasion by announcing a world premiere of a new project. In the teaser, we witness a fight between Ryu Hayabusa and a curvaceous fighter, who looks very much like Kasumi… We can't say much about it, except that this fighting game doesn't seem to have lost its desire to tease users.
