Ball X Pit Conquers Steam with an Excellent Launch
Reception and sales reward Devolver Digital's new title
If you're constantly searching for unique gaming experiences, you should keep an eye on Ball x Pit, a chaotic roguelite where you unleash barrages of bullets on enemies. Released last October 15 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC (Steam), this title by developer Kenny Sun and published by Devolver Digital could indeed become one of the year's breakout hits.

On Steam, Ball x Pit is performing strongly: there's a demo, which has been tried by over 250,000 players, but more importantly, there are over 3,500 user reviews, with an "extremely positive" overall rating. According to SteamDB, Ball x Pit has attracted over 34,000 concurrent players: for comparison, Keeper, also released recently, doesn't reach 200 (incidentally, both titles are on Game Pass).

The excellent reception on Steam is confirmed by sales: the game's official Twitter account reports that, in five days, Ball x Pit has surpassed the milestone of 300,000 copies sold. This is a respectable result for an alternative production, which was primarily developed by a single developer, with the help of 6 collaborators.
