Ball x Pit Updates with The Naturalist Update

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Kenny Sun announce the release of The Naturalist Update, the new update for Ball x Pit. The Naturalist introduces additional content to the popular roguelike and is indicated as the last free update the game will receive. However, the surprises for Ball x Pit are not over, because Kenny Sun has hinted at some big news that will be shared soon: could it be a major expansion, or even a sequel? We'll have to wait and see.

The Contents of The Naturalist Update

With The Naturalist Update, two additional playable characters make their debut in Ball x Pit. The first is The Ballbearer, who doubles firepower with twice the ball slots, but sacrifices passives in return. The second is The Hoary Hoarder, who takes the opposite approach: only two ball slots, but double the passives. The update's content is rounded out by 11 new balls and 5 new passives.
