56 Days - Trailer Unveils Erotic Thriller Series

Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for 56 Days, a new thriller series with erotic undertones produced by Atomic Monster, James Wan's production company. Love, obsession, and death intertwine in a story that promises high tension and plot twists until the very last episode.

Based on the eponymous 2021 bestselling novel by Catherine Ryan Howard, the series will consist of 8 episodes, available for streaming from February 18 in over 240 countries. Starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia, alongside Karla Souza and Dorian Missick.

Sex, Secrets, and Death

The story begins with a chance encounter in a supermarket: Oliver and Ciara fall in love quickly, with an intensity that soon spills into the darker side of the relationship. After 56 days, the police enter Oliver's apartment and find unidentified bodies, brutally murdered and deliberately decomposed. From here, the investigation begins: who killed whom?

The narrative alternates a single day of the investigation in the present with the couple's past, reconstructing step by step a relationship full of secrets, lies, and manipulations. The result is a psychological thriller that plays with the viewer's perception, transforming a love story into a nightmare.
