Wreckreation: Three Fields Entertainment Closes Its Doors
Founders had created Burnout Paradise

Wreckreation, the new title from Three Fields Entertainment, only hit the market last October – you can find the launch trailer HERE – but it evidently didn't achieve the success the team had hoped for.
With a terse message on her LinkedIn profile, co-founder and CEO Fiona Sperry announced that all studio members will soon receive a "redundancy notice": unfortunately, this is a preventive procedure required by UK law before the actual termination letter can be issued.
This is a total closure: the studio will cease to exist.

Wreckreation: no support from THQ Nordic
"As an independent studio, we will not see revenue from sales of our game in the immediate future – explains Sperry – We have had to self-fund for most of the year and for all post-launch content. Without the enthusiasm or financial support from our Publisher [THQ Nordic] to continue development, we simply cannot sustain the studio in its current form. Making this decision has been incredibly painful."
In the past, Three Fields Entertainment developed and published Danger Zone, but its founders are best known for their work before founding the studio, specifically when they collaborated on several installments of the Burnout series, including Paradise.
Wreckreation is an arcade sandbox driving game where users have access to a powerful circuit editor to generate their own tracks that completely defy the laws of physics, with ramps, jumps, and extreme parabolic curves. With the closure of the development team, it is assumed that support for the game servers will pass directly into the hands of the Publisher or another subordinate team [it would be unthinkable for it to cease after just two months...].
