Will Wolverine be the star of the next State of Play? The rumor

You remember Marvel's Wolverine, right? This PlayStation 5 game was announced four years ago, in September 2021, and since then little to nothing has been heard about it: we only heard about it during the hacker attack that hit its developer, Insomniac Games (a studio that knows a thing or two about comic book heroes, having developed the Spider-Man games). However, something might be moving very soon.

Is Wolverine about to appear?

The next trailer for the game is now said to be weeks away: this is according to Tom Henderson (via Insider Gaming), who suggests that Marvel's Wolverine will most likely be shown at the next State of Play, which is expected to be broadcast at the end of September. Henderson cites sources who prefer to remain anonymous for obvious reasons; according to other sources, Wolverine will "almost certainly" appear at the State of Play, but if it doesn't make it, it will still be revealed in the following months, perhaps during the Game Awards.
