Vampire Survivors at Lucca Comics & Games with Luca Galante and the poncle team

Luca Galante and the poncle team, the creators of the acclaimed game Vampire Survivors, will be present at Lucca Comics & Games 2025 – and this, the founder declares, despite it potentially being counterproductive from an economic standpoint to abandon his car wash for all those days which, despite its name, doesn't wash itself [oh, he said it, not us!].

The team has therefore invited fans to the Casa del Boia, whose ground floor will be transformed into a real medieval village with themed stalls, official merchandise, and many activities. Upstairs, video games will be available: not only Vampire Survivors but also the team's previous titles – Berserk or Die and Kill The Brickman – will be available for anyone who wants to try them.

For the occasion, the team will also host the visionary artist Takeyasu Sawaki, author of the artwork for games such as Okami, Devil May Cry, and El Shaddai, among others: the illustrator will pay homage to the game and sign autographs for fans.

The party doesn't end there, as some iconic characters from the game like Antonio Belpaese, Poe Ratcho, and Giovanna Grana will be "present" in the streets of Lucca at special checkpoints from which they will manage a very special treasure hunt.

The poncle Live Orchestra and the epic tribute

Last but not least, on the evening of Wednesday, October 29 at 8:30 PM at the prestigious Teatro del Giglio, poncle, together with the Orchestra del Teatro Goldoni di Livorno, will perform in a concert that will be a tribute to the entire world of video games. The event will also feature composer Yoko Shimomura, who is in Italy for her Echoes of Light tour, which will take her to Milan and Rome on December 8 and 15, respectively.
