With Cronos: The New Dawn, the Polish studio Bloober Team proved that the unexpected success of Silent Hill 2 was no accident. Cronos is indeed a mature and self-aware survival horror, which, while not for everyone, impresses with its authorial imprint. We delve deeper into this in our review; however, if you too were struck by this sci-fi work, you'll be pleased to know that an expansion is planned.

The new DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn

Bloober Team has announced Lazarus, the new paid DLC for Cronos: The New Dawn. This additional content will significantly change the tenor of the experience: while in the base game the user was encouraged to adopt a cautious attitude, carefully choosing which encounters to face and which to avoid, in Lazarus everything will become much more aggressive. The player will have to complete the Keeper's mission at all costs, which is to awaken a Lost Essence.

The Collective must remain absolutely unaware of this mission, but secrecy will not be enough to make it simpler, because in Lazarus there will be a new type of enemy, a relentlessly pursuing hunter with whom one will have to confront in spectacular battles. The DLC will be released in autumn 2026, on all platforms where Cronos: The New Dawn is available.
