The Sinking City 2 Offers a Glimpse of Arkham in New Trailer

Developer Frogwares has shared a new trailer that gives us a concise overview of The Sinking City 2. Set about a century ago, this survival horror will transport us to Arkham, an American city that was half-submerged by water without warning. The unfortunate souls who didn't abandon it immediately were forced to contend with a calamity that went far beyond a mere flood.

Gameplay: Investigation and Combat

Then there are those who went to Arkham by choice: the protagonist Calvin Rafferty, determined to find a way to save his beloved Faye. After the flood, Arkham has become an empty shell, its points of interest now home to various horror experiences. Throughout the game, investigation will be of paramount importance: though optional, this activity will facilitate Calvin's journey and allow him to uncover the mysteries surrounding Arkham.

In The Sinking City 2, combat will be unavoidable, but it won't be a simple task: ammunition will be scarce and enemies powerful. To overcome the grotesque assortment of Lovecraftian horrors that infest Arkham, Calvin will have to resort to every available means, be it a firearm, a melee weapon, an environmental hazard, or anything else.
