The Lost Wild: the dinosaur survival horror

The title we are about to discuss was announced in 2022: developed by the English studio Great Ape Games and published by Annapurna Interactive, The Lost Wild is a survival horror set on a mysterious island with dinosaurs, a clear homage to Jurassic Park. The protagonist is Saskia, a young girl who finds herself on this island for unspecified reasons and must explore it to uncover its secrets.

Of course, Saskia's main concern will be not to become lunch for some prehistoric creature. In The Lost Wild, dinosaurs behave like animals and, as such, hunt alone or in groups. Saskia will have to escape their threat by resorting to cunning: dinosaurs cannot be eliminated; at most, one can get the better of them using some non-lethal tools.

When and where The Lost Wild will be released

The Lost Wild was initially expected in 2024, but Great Ape Games needed much more time to complete their work, and judging by the trailer, the result seems promising, with a suggestive atmosphere. The game's launch window is set for 2027; you will find this first-person Jurassic Park on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).
