The Devil Wears Prada 2: Miranda's return trailer
Not just nostalgia, but a new adventure telling the story of the present revolution

Almost twenty years after the release of the original film, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is ready to bring one of the most iconic worlds of contemporary pop cinema back to the big screen. The first official trailer, released by 20th Century Studios, confirms the return of the main cast and immediately clarifies the sequel's intentions: not to live on nostalgia alone, but to tell the story of a profoundly changed present.
We find Andy Sachs, Miranda Priestly, and Emily Charlton in a context where traditional fashion publishing is no longer the center of power it once was. The heart of the story revolves precisely around this generational and industrial clash: Miranda, still the much-feared editor of Runway, must confront the decline of print magazines and a new luxury elite, represented by Emily Blunt's character, now an executive of a large group holding decisive advertising resources.
The new luxury elite enters the scene
The film reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, joined by numerous new additions, including Kenneth Branagh and Lucy Liu. Director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna also return, sealing creative continuity with the 2006 film.
The Italian release is set for April 29, 2026. The devil, it seems, has no intention of stopping dictating terms.
