The Batman Part II: Sebastian Stan and the Return of the Riddler
Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed anything, but the actor's increasingly massive physique has fueled online theories

Matt Reeves continues to move the pieces in his dark universe dedicated to Batman, and in recent hours, fan attention has focused primarily on Sebastian Stan. A video posted on social media shows the actor engaged in a particularly intense workout, a detail that immediately reignited speculation about his possible involvement in the sequel with Robert Pattinson.
For months, Stan's name has been associated with Harvey Dent, who is likely destined to transform into Two-Face during the new film. Warner Bros. has not yet officially confirmed anything, but the actor's increasingly massive physique has further fueled online theories. The impression is that Reeves wants to introduce a more physical antagonist compared to the Riddler seen in the first chapter, building an adversary capable of combining violence, political power, and mental instability.
Paul Dano Leaves the Door Open for a Return

Meanwhile, Paul Dano has also spoken about the franchise again, not ruling out a new appearance by his Riddler. The actor explained that he is still in contact with Reeves and hinted that something might indeed be moving around the character imprisoned in Arkham.
Reeves' goal seems clear: to keep The Batman separate from James Gunn's new DCU, continuing to focus on dark, realistic, and deeply noir atmospheres. The release of The Batman Part II remains set for October 1, 2027.
