The Batman Part 2 – Production in Utter Secrecy
Script sealed "Mission: Impossible" style and a screenplay that seems even more revolutionary

The production machine for The Batman – Part II has officially started moving, and Matt Reeves seems intent on preserving every plot detail, with an even higher level of secrecy compared to the first chapter. The director confirmed that pre-production is already underway and that filming will begin in spring of next year, with the technical team being reconfirmed.
Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson received the new script under almost “Mission: Impossible” conditions: a sealed package requiring a separate code to open. According to Reeves, the actor was enthusiastic about the planned evolution for Bruce Wayne, described as a completely unprecedented direction for the character.
Absolute Secrecy to Avoid Dangerous Leaks

On the cast front, important returns are expected: Colin Farrell will reprise his role as the Penguin, while Jeffrey Wright will return as Jim Gordon. Zoë Kravitz's presence is more uncertain, with several sources suggesting the absence of Selina Kyle in this second part, leaving the field open for the introduction of a new romantic interest — or a new antagonist.
It is precisely in this context that the most talked-about rumor of the moment arises: Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in final negotiations for a still top-secret role. Some speculate Poison Ivy, others an ambiguous figure destined to shake Bruce Wayne's balance.
The film will arrive in theaters starting October 1, 2027.
