Star Citizen: Squadron 42 Heads to Steam, Releasing in 2027

If you want to be a fan of Star Citizen, you need to cultivate the virtue of patience, because when Cloud Imperium Games' work is involved, waiting times inevitably become extended, and by a lot. This also applies to Squadron 42, the cinematic single-player campaign (it's no coincidence that several movie stars will appear in its cast) which was announced back in 2012, and for which only now is a realistic release period emerging.

When is Squadron 42 coming out?

Cloud Imperium Games has launched the Steam page for Squadron 42, which is therefore offered as a stand-alone product to those who do not own Star Citizen. On the page, we find the new trailer that we're sharing with you, some summary information about the campaign, and most importantly, the launch window, set for the second quarter of 2027.
