Stallone to produce thriller series based on The Fourth Monkey
Story built around an extremely methodical and manipulative serial killer

Sylvester Stallone continues to surprise by choosing projects increasingly distant from the classic action that defined his career. After the excellent reception of Tulsa King, the American actor is developing a new television series inspired by The Fourth Monkey, a bestseller by J.D. Barker.
The project will bring to the screen a story built around an extremely methodical and manipulative serial killer, capable of dragging investigators and viewers into an increasingly disturbing psychological game. It's no surprise that in the United States, the novels have often been compared to cult classics like Se7en and The Silence of the Lambs.
A Dark Crime Thriller Designed for Platforms

Creatively guiding the series will be Channing Powell, previously involved in The Walking Dead. Stallone and his Balboa Productions are aiming for a high-end production, with a dark tone strongly oriented towards psychological tension.
Currently, there are no official details on the cast or the platform that will distribute the series, but Sylvester Stallone's involvement suggests very high ambitions for what could become one of the new leading crime thrillers in streaming.
