Saros: The First Gameplay Trailer and Release Date

The September 2025 State of Play immediately kicked off with high intensity with the gameplay trailer for Saros, which had been pre-announced as the highlight of the evening. Saros tells the story of Arjun Devraj, a man searching for answers on the shifting planet Carcosa. The gameplay shown is that of an impactful third-person shooter, fast-paced and with hails of bullets raining down on the protagonist.

Saros Release Date

Arjun will be able to absorb bullets with a shield, gaining power to send back to the sender with a powerful attack. Another gameplay mechanic highlighted by the developers is the ability to return to life stronger after perishing the first time. Saros has a release date: Housemarque's sci-fi TPS will be released on March 20, 2026. Naturally, exclusively on PlayStation 5.
