Kemuri: First Gameplay Trailer and Release Window

Kemuri was first unveiled in December 2023 at The Game Awards, and we hadn't heard anything about it since. It's the debut work from Unseen, a Tokyo-based studio led by Ikumi Nakamura, a game designer with a background at Tango Gameworks. After two and a half years of silence, the studio has finally spoken again, to show us the first gameplay trailer.

When and Where Kemuri Releases

The trailer shows us a city overrun by Yokai, an invisible but dangerous presence. In this urban fantasy setting, players will have to hunt down demons, using the powers of other Yokai. It's an action-oriented experience focused on vertical exploration, which can be tackled alone or in 3-person co-op multiplayer. Kemuri's release window is 2027: you'll find Unseen's debut work on PlayStation 5 and PC.
