Resident Evil Showcase Reveals New Details on the Terror and Action of Resident Evil Requiem

The Resident Evil Showcase unveiled the brand-new gameplay for Resident Evil Requiem, further details on the exclusive collaboration with Porsche, the announcement of a collaboration with the famous watchmaker Hamilton, as well as day-one availability on GeForce NOW and information on NVIDIA's latest DLSS 4 and path tracing technology, all leading up to the worldwide launch of Resident Evil Requiem on February 27, 2026.

Gameplay & Story

FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and legendary DSO agent Leon Kennedy are the two protagonists of Resident Evil Requiem, offering players a unique combination of breathtaking action and thrilling survival horror. As previously revealed, both protagonists will be playable in first-person for deeper immersion and third-person for more dynamic action, with the ability to switch perspectives at any time during gameplay.

• Leon Kennedy: Leon, skilled in both hand-to-hand combat and firearms, is investigating a series of suspicious deaths. As he navigates this deadly situation, he is able to wield a variety of weapons and perform close-quarters combat maneuvers with the brand-new axe. Perfect Leon's skills by timing your moves to parry enemy attacks, turn the tables by attacking with a chainsaw snatched from an enemy, and unleash exhilarating finishing moves for the final blow.
• Grace Ashcroft: Grace begins her survival journey in a zombie-infested asylum, where she will have to make very clear decisions about which enemies to fight and which to avoid. Limited resources and carrying capacity force the player to make crucial decisions that can mean life or death. By acquiring a special device, Grace can craft essential items using infected blood, thus unlocking the ability to diversify attack strategies. The Requiem assault revolver, a special homage to the game's name, is a customized weapon boasting immense power and will likely be your last resort for survival. With limited ammunition, will you use it immediately or save it for the horrors that await?
• Zombies: The zombies in this game have lost their minds, but some seem fixated on the actions they performed before dying. A chef obsessed with cooking, a singer who keeps singing, a janitor who polishes mirrors non-stop. Can you exploit their behaviors to outsmart them?
• Elpis: Elpis is the keyword that connects everything: the death of Grace's mother, Alyssa Ashcroft; Grace's past; and the story linked to Leon. It's up to you, the player, to unravel the mystery that leads to the truth behind the events described in Resident Evil Requiem.
• Difficulty: Players can choose from different difficulty levels to experience horror and action. Casual level offers aim assist, as well as greater tolerance in terms of player health and enemy resilience. Standard Classic level increases tension, requiring ink ribbons for each save when playing as Grace and imposing a strategy not only in resource management but also in choosing the right moment to save.

In addition to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store, Resident Evil Requiem will also be available on the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, all starting on the same day, February 27, 2026. Those who purchase Resident Evil Requiem on Steam or Epic Games Store will also be able to play on PCs with more modest specifications via GeForce NOW. Furthermore, thanks to mobile devices and TVs that support GeForce NOW, you can enjoy Resident Evil Requiem wherever you are. A separate GeForce NOW subscription is required.

Resident Evil Requiem has been optimized for a wide range of PCs in anticipation of its worldwide launch, allowing players with high-spec PCs to enjoy additional cutting-edge NVIDIA technologies, with DLSS 4 and path tracing effects that accelerate performance and improve image quality.

Collaborations

It's time to unveil an extraordinary collaboration with the historic watchmaking company Hamilton, which has carefully designed two stunning watch models that faithfully reproduce those worn by Leon and Grace in the game, with amazing details. The Khaki Field Auto Chrono (Leon) and the Pan Europ Automatic (Grace) will go on sale starting Friday, February 27, the same day as the launch of Resident Evil Requiem and will be available in a limited edition of only 2,000 pieces worldwide. And crossing the finish line is the lightning-fast collaboration with Porsche, the automotive company that has fascinated car enthusiasts worldwide for decades. A one-of-a-kind Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT was created with complex 3D printing technology, perfectly customizing the vehicle to fit the distinctly dark world of the game. Designed around the central themes of performance and survival, this custom SUV appears in the game as Leon's vehicle: a legendary ride for a legendary character.

• Grace & Leon Figurines: 1/6 scale figurines of Grace and Leon will be available for purchase this autumn, with various display options as single pieces or combined in a set. These figurines also match those produced in previous Collector's Editions, creating an essential collection when displayed together.
