Is Leon S. Kennedy Returning in Resident Evil Requiem?

Resident Evil Requiem brings the action back to Raccoon City, thirty years after its destruction. The Wrenwood Hotel, the location at the center of Grace's investigation, stands precisely on the ruins of a city that marked the destiny of numerous historical characters in the series, primarily Leon, protagonist of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

Previous trailers and teasers had already hinted at fragments of the old RPD, the place where the young agent Kennedy experienced his first night of hell. The narrative choice to return to the origins has strengthened the idea of a possible cameo or even a more significant role.

There is, however, still no confirmation, but many clues.

An option many fans hope for, although developers have repeatedly advised against setting expectations too high. It is not excluded that Leon could be controlled only in specific scenarios or in extra modes.
