Replaced postponed: release delayed by one month

The game is done and finished, but more time is needed for final touches

Replaced is a side-scrolling action game, set in an alternative post-apocalyptic version of 1980s America, a dystopian cyberpunk setting that may not be entirely original, but proves intriguing. If you'd like to delve deeper, we've written a preview based on the recent demo. This first taste of the game has received a positive reception from gamers, but if you're eagerly awaiting Replaced, we have bad news for you.

The new release date for Replaced

After being postponed for years, Replaced's launch was finally set for March 12th, but there will be a bit more waiting. Its developer, Sad Cat Studios, informs us via Twitter/X that the game itself has been completed, but that a little more time is needed to polish it. The release date for Replaced has therefore been postponed to April 14, 2026. We remind you that you will find the game on Xbox Series X|S, PC (Xbox PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), as well as day one on Game Pass.
