Project "Age 1000": The New Dragon Ball Game
A mysterious title, arriving next year
Bandai Namco has announced a new Dragon Ball video game, provisionally referred to as project "Age 1000". The name seems to refer to an era in the original work's timeline that is set approximately 250 years after the beginning of Dragon Ball, thus long after the events of Goku, Bulma & co. that we all know. The name of the late master Akira Toriyama is prominently featured in the presentation trailer.
When will we know more about Age 1000?
Bandai Namco has not provided information about the game, but in the trailer we see what appears to be a custom character (wearing a Capsule Corporation suit) fighting and even turning Super Saiyan. Could this be a hint of an MMO? We will find out on April 18-19, when more details will be shared as part of Dragon Ball Game Battle Hour 2026. Age 1000 will be released in 2027.
