Professor Layton and the New World of Steam: Release Date
We finally know when the new game from Level 5 will arrive
Japanese developer Level 5 shared a new trailer for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam (or Il professor Layton e il Nuovo Mondo a Vapore, if you prefer in Italian) during Nintendo Direct, to announce the release date. After briefly introducing the game's two protagonists, Layton and Luke, the video reviews some of the puzzles, which will be more numerous than ever before in a title from the series.
Where and when The New World of Steam is released
The new chapter of the puzzle-focused franchise was initially expected in 2025, but was delayed to the current year, and fortunately Level 5 has not postponed it further. The release date for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is December 10, 2026: you'll be able to solve the puzzles on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC (Steam).
