Possessor(s) Arrives in November, New Gameplay Trailer Released

Publisher Devolver Digital presents Possessor(s), a 2.5D side-scrolling action-platformer. This video game takes place in a destroyed metropolis overrun by horrors of all kinds, where a boy, Luca, makes a pact with the demon Rhem just to survive. The city is in the hands of a mega-corporation, a murky entity with secrets to hide.

The Combat System of Possessor(s)

The prominent feature of this title is its combat system, inspired by beat 'em ups like Super Smash Bros. As you can see from the gameplay trailer shared by Devolver, the combat system is high-precision and allows for the use of various weapons, performing combos, and keeping enemies airborne for a good amount of time. The developer is Heart Machine, an American studio known for Hyper Light Drifter. 

When and Where Possessor(s) Will Be Released

Possessor(s) will be released on November 11, 2025. Luca and Rhem's fight for survival will take place on PlayStation 5 and PC, via Steam.
