PlayStation Inaugurates Game of the Year Awards 2025
Winners will be decided exclusively by players
The year is drawing to a close, and it's time for reflections… and awards. PlayStation will also honor the creators of the most appreciated video games with the Game of the Year Awards 2025, an initiative that broadly includes all titles released on the company's consoles in the period from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025. The only votes counted are those of the players: it will therefore be the gaming community that decides who triumphs, unlike, for example, what happens at The Game Awards.
How to vote for the PlayStation Awards
Voting is very simple: just go to the PlayStation Blog and cast your preference. The Awards span 19 different categories: almost all have at least ten nominees, and there is also the possibility to enter a name of your choice, should the game you intend to nominate not appear on the list. The top titles in each category will receive Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Awards. Voting closes on Tuesday, December 9, and the winners will be announced a few weeks later.
