Norse: Oath of Blood showcases its bloody gameplay
The Viking epic is arriving next month

A young Viking, forced into exile after his father's murder by a ruthless antagonist, returns to exact his revenge. In broad strokes, this is the plot of the film The Northman, but not only. The story is the same as Norse: Oath of Blood, a turn-based tactical game with a strong management component, set in ancient Norway and developed by a local studio, Arctic Hazard.
Norse Gameplay
This studio, along with publisher Tripwire, has shared a new gameplay trailer for the game. The video begins with a brief introduction to Norse, then reviews the management aspect, including the administration of the settlement and its various inhabitants. However, the largest portion is dedicated to turn-based combat, which is quite bloody. The trailer showcases the five unit types that can be controlled in battle: Drengrs, Rekkrs, Hersirs, Bogmathrs, and the fearsome Berserkrs.
