Night Patrol – Vampire Horror Trailer Arriving in January
Enthusiasm at screenings within the Fantastic Fest and Beyond Fest circuits

Shudder has unveiled the first trailer for Night Patrol and the impression is immediate: horror cinema is about to welcome a film that seems to skillfully blend urban tension, blood, and a mystery that grows with every shot.
After a positive run at Fantastic Fest and Beyond Fest, the film will hit US theaters on January 16, 2026, bolstered by critical enthusiasm that has raised expectations. Ryan Prows, already known for Lowlife and for the segment in V/H/S/94, directs this story set in the darker corridors of the Los Angeles Police Department, LAPD.
Vampires in the City of Angels
The protagonist is a tormented officer who begins to suspect that some colleagues choose night shifts not out of habit, but to hide a secret related to creatures that are far from human. Prows calls the film a "rollercoaster" built with Shudder and RLJE, designed to entertain without sacrificing a social subtext.
The cast is an (un)likely yet intriguing mosaic of faces: Justin Long, Jermaine Fowler, RJ Cyler, Freddie Gibbs, and wrestler CM Punk lead a group that promises personality and controlled chaos. Completing the team are Dermot Mulroney, YG, Nicki Micheaux, and Jon Oswald.
Beyond the action and vampires, Night Patrol also addresses themes like abuse of power and corruption, while maintaining a purely entertaining tone. This balance recalls certain atmospheres à la Training Day contaminated by the energy of Blade. If the trailer is already a convincing taste, 2026 could mark the arrival of a film worth discovering, for us with the risk of it going direct-to-streaming.
