MSI expands its gaming offering with a special version of the Crosshair A16 HX, first shown at COMPUTEX 2026 and now ready for its international market debut. The new MLG Edition stands out with a design inspired by Dragon Princess, a dragon-shaped character introduced with the MLG line and now one of the brand's most recognizable symbols.
Underneath the pearlescent white chassis, which can take on reddish reflections depending on the lighting, the laptop integrates an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor alongside an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. The Cooler Boost cooling system, consisting of 2x fans, 5x heat pipes, and 4x air outlets, manages a total power draw up to 190 Watts thanks to OverBoost technology.
High Performance in an Exclusive Design
The 16" inch IPS LCD display features a QHD+ (2560×1600) panel with a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz and 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage, characteristics designed not only for competitive gaming but also content creation.
The exclusive setup of the MLG Edition includes a white keyboard with quad-zone RGB backlighting, red rubber feet, and graphic details dedicated to Dragon Princess. The platform supports up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 SSD units configurable in SuperRAID 5, as well as Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, HDMI 2.1 output, and USB-C ports compatible with DisplayPort and Power Delivery.
The package also includes a coordinated mouse, headphones, and mouse pad, while in some markets, a bundle with an exclusive Dragon Princess figurine will be available. MSI will announce pricing and availability.
