Mistfall Hunter reveals gameplay details in a trailer

Publisher Skystone Games and developer Bellring Games return to show us Mistfall Hunter, a dark fantasy action/RPG that marks the meeting point between soulslike and extraction. The world of Mistfall Hunter is being consumed by a dangerous fog, called Gyldenmist, into which the Gyldhunters, those tasked with recovering the precious Gyldenblood, which can reverse the process, venture.

The new trailer illustrates Mistfall Hunter's gameplay mechanics in detail. Players, alone or in teams of three, will have to venture into the maps, where they will find not only assorted monstrosities, but also rival teams ready to face them. The goal is to collect the best possible loot and proceed to extraction; at least one member of the team must try to get out alive.

Obviously, the combat follows the dictates of the soulslike genre, as do those of most modern dark fantasy action titles. The trailer focuses in particular on the different classes that can be selected for one's character. Mistfall Hunter is scheduled for release in July 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Xbox PC). If you'd like to try it, an open beta test will start on Steam on June 14.
