Masters of the Universe Reboot – Actress Morena Baccarin Speaks Out

After years in the Marvel world as the sensual and ironic Vanessa from Deadpool, Brazilian actress Morena Baccarin has landed in Masters of the Universe, the major Amazon MGM production set for June 5, 2026.

This time she will play the legendary Sorceress, the guardian of Grayskull's power, a key figure in the He-Man myth and mother of Teela (played by Camila Mendes). "Growing up watching He-Man with my brother and then finding myself embodying the Sorceress was surreal," she told Variety.

New Faces, New Life for the Characters

On set, the magic is literally palpable. The actress praised Nicholas Galitzine, the new face of Prince Adam, for his impressive physical transformation: "He worked hard for months, and it shows. It was incredible to see him in action."
