Marvel and Insomniac: The Collaboration Beyond Spider-Man and Wolverine
Marvel Games wants to continue for many more years

Marvel's Wolverine is undeniably one of Sony's flagship titles for the coming year: the game, in development at Insomniac Games, closely follows the success the team achieved with its Spider-Man titles and significantly strengthens the relationship between the Japanese company and Disney, owner of the rights to the entire Franchise.
Many have wondered if this collaboration is destined to end with the adventures of the adamantium-clawed Logan or if, in the future, we can hope to see Insomniac's signature on other similar licensed products. The answer to this question came directly from the Games General Manager of Marvel Games, Haluk Mentes, who, speaking to Game Informer, stated:
Marvel's Spider Man 2

"We've worked together for over a decade and developed such a synergy across the various Spider-Man games that when it finally came time to bring Logan back in a spectacular and visceral way, it was obvious to everyone on our team that Insomniac was the perfect choice. It was our shared culture and values that brought us together, and we'll be proud to continue collaborating for many years to come."
Indeed, a year ago, at the time of the unfortunate Insomniac content leak, rumors spread that a title related to the X-Men franchise was already on the Ratchet & Clank developer's agenda, slated for 2030. Of course, in the subsequent statements, the SH did not confirm any of this: these are projects that, if real and confirmed, will only be announced in due course.
It is therefore definitely too early to hope to see anything, although Mentes' words suggest that there is already a lot of hot stuff on the table.
The only sure thing is that Marvel's Wolverine is expected on PS5 in Autumn 2026: we leave you with the first gameplay video.
