Legend of the White Dragon unveils trailer and release date

After a long development, Legend of the White Dragon finally shows itself with its first full trailer. Produced by Bat in the Sun Productions and distributed by Well Go USA Entertainment, the film will debut in US theaters on August 28, bringing to the big screen the final performance of Jason David Frank, who passed away in 2022.

The story follows Erik Reed, once considered a hero, now forced to live on the run after being unjustly accused. Determined to clear his name and find his family, he must confront a mysterious adversary intent on eliminating the warrior known as White Dragon. The sequences released so far hint at a film with a more intense tone than one might expect, while inevitably recalling the legacy left by the Power Rangers.

Alongside Jason David Frank are Jason Faunt, Cerina Vincent, Ciara Hanna, Mark Dacascos, David Ramsey, and Jenna Rae Frank, the actor's daughter, whose participation adds strong symbolic value to the project. Last but not least, the late Michael Madsen.

While an original story, Legend of the White Dragon also serves as a tribute to Jason David Frank and the bond the actor built over the years with Power Rangers fans.
