Knight's Path: The Gameplay Trailer for the Medieval Action/RPG
An indie project that focuses heavily on realistic combat

Watching the first gameplay trailer, it's immediately clear that Knight's Path makes melee combat its core element: in fact, this action/RPG set in a universe inspired by the Holy Roman Empire intends to recreate period sword techniques, within the context of a combat system focused on verisimilitude, where every blow counts and there's no room for fanciful moves like rolls.
Of course, amidst so much realism, it's a bit strange that a dragon also appears in the trailer… The story is that of Alryk, a fallen nobleman who must learn the art of the sword to save the kingdom of Eranthold. How exactly to do this, whether by becoming a model of virtue or a scoundrel, will be up to the player to decide: All of this will take place within an open world, albeit of limited size.
Where and When Knight's Path is Releasing
The project is very ambitious, perhaps even too much considering that there are only two indie developers behind it: we will see how it progresses. Knight's Path currently does not have a launch window, but given the state of the current build, it can be assumed that we will only be talking about its release in a few years. The game's platform is PC, via Steam.
