John Rambo – The Basis for the Controversial Prequel

The Rambo saga is undergoing an unexpected turn with the prequel entrusted to Jalmari Helander, rewriting the origins of the celebrated hero from a surprisingly serene starting point. Fresh off the success of the Sisu sequel, Helander explained to Total Film that the film will show a very different Rambo from the one portrayed by Sylvester Stallone: a still bright young man, with a stable life and devoid of the darkness that would later mark him forever.
