Ice Cream Man: The Ice Cream Vendor Who Spreads Terror
The first images released online show a true explosion of violence

Eli Roth prepares his return to the big screen with Ice Cream Man, a new horror film arriving in U.S. theaters on August 7 through his label, The Horror Section. The director of Cabin Fever, Hostel, and Thanksgiving co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Belson, crafting a story that promises to push far beyond the boundaries of political correctness.
Set in the tranquil seaside town of Bayleen Bay, the film begins with the arrival of an enigmatic ice cream vendor. What seems like a harmless symbol of summer quickly transforms into the origin of a nightmare when the young customers begin to exhibit increasingly disturbing behavior.

The first images released online show a true explosion of violence. The town's children are transformed into uncontrolled killers, unleashing a bloody hunt for adults that harks back to the provocative spirit of certain 1980s exploitation cinema.
The cast includes Ari Millen as the mysterious ice cream vendor, alongside Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, and Charlie Zeltzer. The soundtrack will feature contributions from Snoop Dogg, while the prosthetic effects were entrusted to Oscar winner Adrien Morot.
It should be noted that Ice Cream Man has no connection to the eponymous 1990s horror film starring Clint Howard. This is an entirely new project that aims to bring back the more extreme and provocative approach of Eli Roth's cinema. Italy will have to wait until October 31, 2026, with distribution handled by Plaion Pictures.
