Ice Age 6: Boiling Point - Scrat in New Chaos

Disney has revealed new images and the official logo for Ice Age 6: Boiling Point, the sixth chapter in the beloved animated saga that began in 2002 and is now fully under the control of the House of Mouse after the acquisition of 20th Century Fox.

Presented during CinemaCon 2026, the film will bring back the historical protagonists of the series: Manny, Ellie, Sid, Diego, and of course Scrat, this time joined by the little Baby Scrat introduced in the Disney+ shorts Ice Age: Scrat Tales. This comedic duo seems destined to become the focus of the new chapter's promotion.

Disney bets big on nostalgia and new mascots

One of the sequences shown to attendees sees Scrat hand an acorn to the pup like a pacifier, only to find themselves engulfed by a volcanic eruption that destroys enormous ice platforms. The tone remains classic to the franchise: slapstick comedy, impossible chases, and increasingly spectacular natural disasters.

The material also teases a mysterious lost tropical world that will serve as the new setting for the adventure, suggesting a change of scenery from the saga's traditional glacial landscapes. The film will arrive in theaters in February 2027 and will represent the first true cinematic sequel to Ice Age produced directly by Disney.
