Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping – Production News
After four films, the universe created by Suzanne Collins continues to expand

Panem reopens its doors with an unexpected face: Ralph Fiennes is the new Coriolanus Snow in the film Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The first image leaked online shows the British actor in a propaganda poster, with an impeccable military uniform and the slogan: "Our President Snow: Panem's number one guardian of peace".
The universe created by Suzanne Collins continues to expand: after the trilogy with Katniss and the prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, this new film focuses on the 50th Quarter Quell. Here, Snow appears in an intermediate phase of his life, still vigorous but already marked by traits that bring him closer to the version immortalized by Donald Sutherland. The choice of Fiennes, famous for having played Voldemort in the Harry Potter saga, promises to give the character an intimidating and icy aura.
An important legacy for the great actor to take on

The cast also includes Joseph Zada as young Haymitch Abernathy, Kieran Culkin as Caesar Flickerman, Elle Fanning as Effie Trinket, and Jesse Plemons as Plutarch Heavensbee. A generational change that might divide fans but offers the opportunity to explore new nuances in the saga's key characters.
There is no official release date yet, but the arrival of Sunrise on the Reaping marks a new era for The Hunger Games, with Ralph Fiennes called to take on a heavy legacy and reinvent Panem's most feared antagonist.
