Helldivers 2 Invokes Galactic Offensive in New Trailer

Today, February 3rd, Helldivers 2 updates with the Siege Breakers Warbond, but there's more in store for Arrowhead's cooperative shooter. One of the experience's strengths lies in the story's progression, an interplanetary conflict that constantly takes on farcical tones: the new trailer updates us on the latest developments, with a particular call to arms.

The Automaton "Threat"

It is thus revealed that the Automaton civilization has gotten its hands on the blueprints for the "Star of Peace", a sort of Death Star capable of destroying a planet. Of course, this terrible weapon was conceived by humans… To avert the danger arising from its own creation, Super Earth deploys the Helldiver armies in a preemptive offensive, which will strike at the heart of the robotic enemy on its home planet, Cyberstan. For the occasion, the poor Automatons will also have to contend with the Bastion heavy tank.
