Gran Turismo 7 Announces Power Pack DLC
A paid expansion, dedicated to those seeking a true racing experience
The Gran Turismo series has reached the prestigious milestone of 100 million copies sold and wants to celebrate in a big way. Kazunori Yamauchi, the series' creator, takes the virtual stage at State of Play to announce the upcoming news for Gran Turismo 7 next month. The racing game will receive a major free update, Spec III, which will include, among other things, the Yas Marina circuit, but that's not all.
Gran Turismo 7 Power Pack
Polyphony Digital has prepared a further update, called Power Pack: this paid DLC is designed to introduce a more realistic racing experience into Gran Turismo 7. Power Pack will include 50 new races divided into 20 thematic categories, including 24-hour endurance competitions. There will be entire race weekends, with practice, qualifying, and the main event. Furthermore, CPU-driven opponents will evolve thanks to AI Sophy 3.0. If you wish to try your hand at this more hardcore mode, the appointment is set for December 4, 2025, on PlayStation 5, of course.
