Ghostface - NECA's 2025 Gift for 2026 Collectors
Between cinema and collecting, Ghostface is now ready to strike in every season of the year
Ghostface continues to reinvent himself even outside of cinema, becoming an ever-growing icon for all seasons. After the Christmas and Easter versions of the official masks produced by Fun World, and after a line of festive gadgets that even included a nutcracker and an unsettling “Elf on the Shelf” themed Scream, a new surprise now arrives for collectors.
Action figure ahead of Scream 7
On Christmas Day, the NECA brand previewed on social media a draft of the new Santa Ghostface action figure, scheduled for 2026. The figure shows the famous killer masked as Santa Claus, armed with a candy cane sharpened like a weapon. According to initial information, the character will also be accompanied by additional accessories, as is traditional for NECA's horror lines.
The announcement confirms how Ghostface has become a transversal character, capable of blending irony, merchandising, and pop imagery without losing its connection to the slasher genre. 2026 will also be an important year on the cinematic front: the theatrical release of Scream 7, a new chapter in the saga that continues to renew itself between nostalgia and commercial relaunch, is scheduled for February 27, 2026.
