Fortnite Battle Royale is heading into its Chapter 7, titled Pacific Break: for the occasion, Epic Games has released no less than three new Trailers and a series of images.

The Chapter kicks off with the update to version 39.00 of the software and will feature a particular element: the Bus that usually drops players onto the game island will be out of service [shot down by a mega-alien spaceship... these things happen!], so to enter the game, combatants will have to "ride the storm", meaning they'll reach the island by Surfboard.

Fortnite Chapter 7: The Story So Far

The preamble to the game's lore is that a group of seven heroes overthrew the tyranny of the so-called "Zero Point", thus freeing the multiverse from its infinite cycles and allowing the discovery and exploration of new realities. At the end of this endeavor, however, the fate of the Seven remained unknown...

Fortnite Chapter 7: Reboot, Blitz, and Collaborations

Chapter 7 will offer, in addition to the classic Battle Royale, also the two game modes Blitz and Reboot, enabling various weapons, including new additions and iconic returns. There are also new Items and vehicles, but most importantly, collaborations have been shown that will bring to the screen Beatrix "the Bride" Kiddo - that is, Uma Thurman in the yellow suit from Kill Bill - and Marty McFly - Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future - with his iconic DeLorean. Another individual in a spacesuit is fleetingly shown, who, however, seems to have a flaming skull for a head [is that you, Frank?].

Of course, there will be new locations to explore:

  • Battlewood Boulevard
  • Sandy Strip
  • Wonkeeland
  • Modest Mounds
  • Dented Bay
  • Confidential Canyon
