The Exit 8 trailer immediately clarifies the situation: few elements, obsessive repetition, and growing tension without the need for explanations. The film transforms an everyday environment into a claustrophobic enigma, where every detail can become a threat.

Directed by Genki Kawamura, the project takes shape from a simple but effective idea: a man trapped in a seemingly infinite underground passage, forced to identify anomalies to solve the deadly labyrinth.

The trailer anticipates a nightmare made of details

The images show minimal but decisive variations: changing signs, out-of-place presences, (im)perceptible errors in reality. It is precisely on these discrepancies that the entire experience is built, faithful to the spirit of the game created by Kotake Create.

The cast includes Kazunari Ninomiya, who guides the viewer through this anxiety-inducing loop, alongside Nana Komatsu. The result, at least as suggested by the trailer, focuses more on perception than on shock.

After the international festival circuit, Exit 8 will debut worldwide starting this month, announced in Italian cinemas for April 23rd. A supernatural thriller that doesn't raise its voice but forces you to look closer, always more.
