Valheim: Patch 1.0 Release Date

After spending over five years in early access, Valheim is almost ready to transition to its full version. This Norse-themed survival game launched in February 2021 and immediately became a multi-million seller. Over time, the game has progressively expanded, now offering a huge world inspired by Viking culture, the setting for an uncompromising survival experience.

When Valheim 1.0 Comes Out

Publisher Coffee Stain and developer Iron Gate announce that Valheim will transition to version 1.0 on September 9. From that day, the Deep North update will also be available, introducing the arctic biome, with new enemies to face, bases to build, and weapons to craft. Also on September 9, Valheim will be released on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms; it is currently already available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
