Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Releases Today on PC and Consoles

DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, the remake of DRAGON QUEST VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past from 2000, is now available for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

In DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, embark on the adventure of a lifetime as a hopeful young hero and his childhood friends, torn from the peaceful island they call home. Sent back in time by an ancient map, they discover that evil forces have sealed off entire kingdoms. As they find more map fragments and open new paths to the past, what begins as a search for answers transforms into a fight for the fate of their world, vaster and more wonderful than they could have imagined.

DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined builds on the beloved original game to offer a modern RPG to a new generation. Classic character designs by Akira Toriyama have been reimagined in a charming, handcrafted 3D style, enhanced by diorama-inspired environments and dungeons. The story remains faithful to the original, while offering a more streamlined experience and greater narrative depth through optional side quests, stories, and mini-games. The combat system is more exciting and dynamic than ever, with significant new features, including “Moonlighting,” the ability to use two vocations simultaneously, as well as adrenaline-fueled Vocational Perks and a new vocation, the Monster Master, which allows you to summon monsters.

Players can try a free demo of DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined on all platforms and continue the adventure in the full game using transferable save data. Those who own the demo data and play the full version will receive an exclusive in-game cosmetic costume, the “Day Off Dress” for Maribel, as a gift.

Those who purchase the digital version of the game will receive a unique in-game Slime Shield for each platform. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition of DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, available for 74.99 euros, includes the “White Wolf” costume for Ruff and three downloadable content packs:
