Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! - Eli Roth Teams Up with Snoop Dogg
What appears to be a cinephile's incursion into the beloved (and overused) genre is in preparation

Announced months ago as a simple fake trailer, Don’t Go in That House, Bitch! has since been revealed to be a real feature film. Now comes the news that Eli Roth will be joined by none other than rapper Snoop Dogg, who will not only serve as a producer but also star in the film.
In an interview with Variety, Roth explained that the idea is to create “the definitive haunted house movie,” a kind of crazy mix of cinephile references ranging from House and House by the Cemetery to Hausu (an iconic Japanese horror-comedy-surreal film from 1977) and Friday the 13th. A deliberately over-the-top horror-comedy, built around one of the most shouted phrases by viewers during genre films: “Don’t go in that house!”
Crazy 360° Cinephile Incursion
According to Roth, this is the very heart of the project: transforming that chorus of warnings ignored by the characters into a kind of “Greek chorus” that becomes an active part of the story. A meta-cinematic choice that promises irony and blood, as if the Wayans brothers themselves had come up with the idea.
The screenplay was completed during the Christmas holidays and filming is expected to begin in June 2026, with production entrusted to Horror Section Studios. Roth is evaluating access to California tax credits to shoot the film in Los Angeles.
But the collaboration between Roth and Snoop Dogg goes beyond this project: the rapper is also contributing to the soundtrack of Ice Cream Man, the director’s next film, not only signing a song for the end credits but also part of the original score. A creative partnership that aims to merge horror, music, and various excesses.
