Death Howl Launches Today on PC, Coming to Consoles in February
An original blend of deckbuilder, soulslike, and grid-based tactics

Publisher 11 Bit Studios and developer The Outer Zone announce the release of Death Howl, available starting today, December 9, on PC via Xbox Store, Steam, and GOG. You can also find it on Game Pass from day one. In this title, deckbuilder and soulslike genres meet: these two genres are combined through a tactical grid-based combat system and an isometric view. Death Howl offers over 160 cards to collect and 30 enemies to face, in a world made up of 4 realms divided into 13 regions.
When Death Howl Releases on Console
The story follows the protagonist Ro, a hunter from a small tribe who must overcome the pain of her son's disappearance. If you're interested, you can find a demo on Steam that will introduce you to the world of this video game; if you don't play on PC, know that Death Howl will also arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, but you'll have to wait longer: the console release date is February 19, 2026.
