Who knows if a Croc 3 will be made in the future?
Between the late 90s and early 2000s, the English software house Argonaut Games developed Croc and Croc 2, 3D platformers starring the eponymous crocodile. The studio closed in 2004 but reopened in 2024 to announce a remastered version of the first game, which was released in April 2025. Now Argonaut Games will give the same treatment to the sequel.
Where Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos will be released
The remaster of Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos will revisit the original experience with updated graphics, sound, and controls to keep pace with modern times. On the gameplay side, there will be some additional content, such as new Guardians to face, and new mechanics like the triple jump. For now, Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos does not have a launch window. You will find the remastered edition on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam, GOG).
