After one of the most discussed production sagas of recent years, Coyote vs. ACME is now ready for its theatrical debut. Having been long in limbo after being canceled by Warner Bros. Discovery despite being completed, the film offers a new preview in its final trailer of a comedy that promises to be hilarious and capable of blending live-action and animation in the purest Looney Tunes style.

Here, an original sequel is imagined to the classic chase between Coyote and Road Runner: exasperated by the continuous malfunctions of ACME products, the Coyote sues the multinational corporation. Assisting him is Kevin Avery, a lawyer played by Will Forte, while John Cena takes on the role of the brilliant legal counsel tasked with defending the company's interests.

Film Saved at the Last Minute After Definitive Cancellation

In addition to the inevitable physical gags, the trailer confirms the presence of numerous historic Looney Tunes characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, and Tweety. Screenwriter Samy Burch explained that the film aims to tell the perseverance of its protagonist, transforming his continuous failures into the engine of the story.

Initially listed by the major as a tax write-off, the film was acquired by Ketchup Entertainment, which guaranteed its theatrical release. Unfortunately, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah's Batgirl was not so lucky. Directed by Dave Green, Coyote vs. ACME will arrive in Italian cinemas on September 2nd, distributed by LuckyRed.
