Cor3: The New Shooter from the Creator of Escape From Tarkov

Battlestate Games is a Russian studio that, with Escape from Tarkov, defined the rules of the popular subgenre known as extraction shooters. Its lead game designer, Nikita Buyanov, has announced a new work, Cor3, with a decidedly cryptic trailer. The first seconds of the video betray the nature of this game, which is that of a first-person shooter, for which we cannot currently provide a more precise classification.

The setting appears to be a ruined colony on the planet Mars; the devastation also extends into space. The trailer links to the interactive website cor3.gg, which summarizes the game's setting. Set in the year 2251, Cor3 tells us of a humanity that nearly collapsed in the 21st century but was saved by a mysterious organization that centralized power, called Core.

Judging by what we see in the trailer, this new world order must not have gone so well… Cor3 has neither a launch window nor reference platforms indicated, although it is reasonable to assume it will be released on PC. It is specified that Cor3 is not connected to the Escape from Tarkov franchise.
